I have made it my life’s work helping individuals, couples and families find peace in their lives and improve their personal and relational well-being.
I offer individual counseling services, helping clients manage and overcome an assortment of personal challenges and clinical issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, relationship issues, life transitions and trauma-related issues. I can be a source of hope and guidance for couples who are trying to navigate relationship problems or restore their sense of connection. And, I also offer family and teen counseling services, providing families with the tools, strategies and knowledge they can use to heal and grow closer.
I provide a warm and comfortable environment of trust and respect for my clients, offering them validation and powerful support, regardless of their particular situation or needs. Working with my clients to repair their relationships, overcome their personal pain and heal their families is an honor and I appreciate the opportunity to improve their quality of life. I’ve been trained in a variety of treatment methods which I can use and tailor to your individual situation. Melisa Rossmeissl is a licensed family and marriage counselor. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz and her Master’s of Arts from Santa Clara University. Before running her own private practice, Melisa gained a variety of clinical experience while working in multiple settings. Melisa worked at several local counseling centers where she helped her clients deal with a diverse array of clinical issues including but not limited to mood disorders, emotional disturbance, relationship issues, trauma, self-harming behaviors, parenting, family conflict and life transitions. Melisa also worked with adolescents and their parents at local high schools. She offered individual bereavement counseling and was responsible for facilitating numerous bereavement support groups at Pathways Hospice.
